i did this a couple weeks ago, just got around to posting it. i had a chunk of shell sirloin in the freezer and keep seeing things about this barbecued tritip they do in california. so i decide to make a bbq beef sammich.
basic white roll, good shit.
huge chunk of bbq'd beef, coffee and spice rubbed
i wanted it a bit rarer, i think my thermometer might need to calibrated, havent done it in a year.
i like mustard on my beef sandwich, this is dijon i believe
a good pile o' beef
red onion is a must, i opted for bleu cheese, although i regretted this decision; it was a bit much
spring mix on top of all that and you're ready to go.
looks as good as i remember
and the action shot, all in all a great sammich
